Choosing a Repair Shop:
It’s your car and you can choose where you want to have it repaired. Choose a repair shop that you trust and wish to do business with. No matter where your car is repaired, you are entitled to proper repairs from the shop and the proper compensation from the insurer.

After the Accident:
After the accident, there are certain steps that need to be done before a customer comes into our shop, there are many different scenarios where coming straight to us will not be of any help. After an accident customers need to call their insurance companies and/ or the insurance company of those who are liable for the damage. In Closing, it is just reiterating what is said in paying for repairs.

FYI

  • No law requires you to get more than one estimate.
  • There is a big difference between shops. Any shop can give you a lower estimate by leaving something out or overlooking parts. Do not assume you can get quality of workmanship you want from the shop offering the lowest estimate.
+How to care for your vehicle after repairs are done

  • Never use automated car washes, it will scratch your paint
  • Wait 30 days before washing your vehicle.
  • Do not wax your car for at least 90 days. If waxed before 90 days the chemical barrier created will not allow paint to fully cure and cause a dull finish.
  • After 30 days weekly washes are recommended.
  • Never wash in direct sunlight. Always wash in a shaded area to avoid water spots.
  • Never use laundry detergents or similar harsh soaps to wash your car. Use only shampoos or polishes.
  • It is recommended to use microfiber wash mitts as a paint safe option.
  • Never skip Drying. Dry your vehicle after washing to prevent water spots.
  • Use a large Microfiber towel with a Waffle weave texture, or synthetic chamois.
  • Wax your car after it’s been washed to avoid sealing in the direct.
  • Do not polish or wax your car in the sun when the sun is hot, it could streak or stain the surface.
  • Immediately touch up paint blemishes, rock chips with the appropriate color and type of automotive paint.
  • Do not let paint chips go unattended, exposed metal could begin to rust when exposed to natural elements.
